About CATA:
Creative Art Therapy Australia (CATA), a registered not-for-profit organisation, provides tailored mental and well-being services to people from all walks of life.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community, offering healthcare packages without any expectation, and supporting individuals throughout their lifespan.
Our headquarters, located in the vibrant inner-north suburb of Fairfield, Victoria, serves as a welcoming and safe space for individuals seeking mental health support. CATA HQ provides multipurpose therapy rooms designed for a variety of therapies, including art, drama, music, dance, and movement. These rooms are complemented by workshops and events that further engage our community.
At the heart of CATA is our CEO, a visionary artist and activist, who is deeply committed to transforming lives. Under her leadership, CATA continues to grow and pioneer services that make a meaningful impact on humanity.
Our creative art therapists deliver holistic, person-centred care through face-to-face, outreach and telehealth programs.
We support individuals in overcoming adversity by fostering creative, safe, and nurturing environments that encourage personal growth and development. With a strong focus on integrity and respect. CATA collaborates with schools, aged care facilities, hospitals, hospices, local communities, councils, families and individuals, delivering goal-orientated therapies.
As a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), CATA holds DGR-1 status and is registered as an NDIS provider. Our mission is to forge, lead and deliver transformative mental health care for all Australians.
